I Said I Was Psychotic, Not Psychic!

The United States has a madman at the helm, there is no doubt about that, and his second in command is just as mad, if not more. At this point in time, there isn't much we can do about it except go through the process of impeachment and removal from office of both Bush and Cheney, but who is next in line, and how do we know that person is any more capable of responsibly running this country? We have a process for chosing our leaders, we're experiencing that process right now, it's this incredibly drawn out election circus. This two year journey we take every four years gives Americans the opportunity to scrutinize the individuals who make the decision to vie for the offices of President and Vice President, and determine where they stand on the issues facing our country, from our borders to religion, and everything in between no matter how trivial or irrelevant. Even with the amount of scrutiny these people are subject to during this lengthy process, a total lunatic managed to 'win' the last two elections, and has put the United States in the most preilous and insecure condition it has been in, perhaps in it's entire history. How did this happen, and what can we do to prevent it from happening again? It is my opinion that it's time we start evaluating our elected servants mental health before being accepted for the election process, instead of being subjected to the dangers of a psychopath like Bush or Cheney AFTER they have been elected. Believe it or not, there is a simple way to accomplish this, and I'll explain that after I show why it's necessary. I'm going to examine George Bush's Antisocial Personality Disorder presentations using his actions and re-actions to stimuli during his presidency. But first we should look at a couple of things in his past that should have been 'red flags' to his illness.
As a child, it has been reported that George enjoyed inflicting injury to animals as evidenced by his allegedly placing firecrackers in the anus of frogs, and then setting them off. A lot of people will say that "everyone does something like that!" Perhaps, but usually only once, and after they see how ugly and disturbing it is, they don't continue the behavior. Later in Georges life, during his college days, he admits that his favorite way of passing time, and gaining his peers approval, was hazing freshmen. For those who may not know what 'hazing' is, it basically torture on a lesser, perhaps 'innocent' level. In Bush's case, however, it is mearly just a continuation of the developing Antisocial Personality Disorder. Again, there is the arguement that lots of people do this, but most adults grow out of it as they pursue other interests. This part of Geroge's psyche just went into recession until the opportunity arose to employ it again. This would come during his time as Govenor of Texas.
Before I continue, I wanted to list the criteria for this disorder according to the American Psychiatric Association's DSM-IV TR, but copyright problems preclude that. So I'll tell you where you can find this information, just Googlesearch 'DSM-IV TR' , then after accessing that, search '301.7 Antisocial Personality Disorder', the information I'm referencing can be found there. If you're in posession of a copy, the info is on pg.291.
As Govenor of Texas, Mr. Bush was, by his own description, proud of his prosecution of the death penalty, and from 1995 to 2000, executed a record 152 prisoners. That's approximately 38 per year, or one person every 9.8 days. I may be off base here, but I believe most people would consider this a shameful record, but not George. He's proud of his ability to wield such power without hesitation, or regret. Criteria # 7 "lack of remorse, as indicated by being indifferent to or rationalizing having hurt, mistreated, or stolen from another.  Keep the word 'stolen' in mind. After Mr. Bush grew tired of putting criminals to death in Texas, he set his sights on becoming President, and just to hedge his bets, evidence has shown that his brother Jeb, Govenor of Florida at the time, and state election officials conspired to 'fix' the election in that state, effectively 'stealing' the outcome of that states balloting, giving the overall national victory to big brother, George. Geroge Bush took the oath of office the following January with absolutely no indication that perhaps there might have been some inproprieties, stating that Al Gore was an innocent victim of unfortunate circumstances. Lack of remorse, indifference, lucky, I don't know, what do you think. Since he has been in office, America suffered the worst terrorist attack in history, and since then the Bush administration has not given a straight answer to The People of the United States about anything. His administration blamed the attack on Osama Bin Ladin, and promised that he would be caught and "made to pay for what he's done", but only recently, when asked why O.B.L. is still at large, Bush told reporters, "I'm just not concerned with him." Could it be because O.B.L.'s involvement was a lie, and was never a target to begin with? Why didn't Bush and Cheney want their testimony in front of the 9/11 Commission made public, and why was it necessary for the two of them to be together? Was it because liars need to be together in order to keep their stories straight? After 9/11 the Bush White House set out to dismantle our constitution so they could start an illegal war with an enemy that didn't exist. They used questionable and absolutely false intelligence to gain American's support and losen congress's hold on the purse strings, and have been lying about it ever since. They tried to do the same thing to Iran, even though Cheney had already admitted to the previous deception of the people and congress. This is blatent failure to conform to social norms with respect to lawful behaviors as indicated by repetedly performing acts that are grounds for treason! Mr. Bush has repetedly referred to himself as a "war president". He says he wakes up and goes to work with "war on my mind!" Is this a normal person's way of thinking? This kind of thought is from someone with an aggressive disregard for the safety of others. At a press conference before he attacked Iraq, Mr. Bush was cautioned that putting troops on the ground in Iraq would bring them under possible attack from Saddam's military, and wasn't he concerned about them getting injured or killed, and his response was, quote,"Bring 'em on!", meaning let them attack the troops. Again, reckless disregard for the safety of others.
The people of America have said that we are sick and tired of paying for this illegal war, and still Bush, without hesitation, and with complete contempt goes to congress time and time again to ask for more funding. We have told him, time and time again, that we will give him more money only if he gives us a date for pulling our troops out and bringing them home. He counters this by refusing to sign legislation that is put before him, and even vetoing a bill for healthcare for our underprivileged children! This is sick, childish, antisocial behavior. I could go on for hours, but it's starting to depress me. I'm sure that if you've accessed the DSM-IV, and have read the criteria for disorder 301.7, there is probably little doubt that the Executive Branch of our government is packed with psychos. Now, how do keep this from happening again?
The Federal Govt. has many jobs that require applicants to undergo a fairly extensive background check and a psyche-social evaluation. The law demands that Joe Citizen undergo the same kind of scrutiny in order to purchase and own a gun. Bush and Cheney hold the two most important jobs in the free world, and are in control of the most sophisticated and deadly arsenal on the planet, yet they were not required to prove that they are mentally stable enough to even buy a gun! There is a way to insure that psychopaths and lunatics don't manage to hold such important positions, and that is to psychologically evaluate these people BEFORE they are approved to run for federal office. It takes a couple of hours to give prospective candidates an examination called the 'MMPI', 575 yes or no questions, that when properly answered, and those answers compared to existing parameters will point out to the facilitator any abhorant or psychotic charachter defects.A person can't work as an air traffic controller without such an examination, why should someone be allowed to hold high government without one? What most normal people don't understand is that another very strong and deceptive quality antisocials posess is manipulation. They are expert liars, as evidenced by Messers Bush and Cheney, and will stop at nothing, once given any kind of power,in their quest to advance their agenda.
Do a little research yourself and see if you don't agree with me. I suggest America come up with some kind of failsafe procedure to flush out people who aren't psychologically equipped for the menally demanding job of president, before we have this problem again. Here are just a few more 'famous' individuals who are 'antisocial'. Osama Bin Laden, Ted Bundy, Jeffery Dahlmer, Charles Manson, Westley Allen Dodd, The Menendez Bros., Timothy McVeigh,
John Wayne Gacy, David Berkowitz, Aileen Wornous, Richard Allen Davis, Dorthea Montolvo Puentes. If you don't think that George W. Bush, and Richard B. Cheney belong on that list, think about the thousands of human beings that have died because of their lies and deception. Bush and Cheney belong at the top of that list, and unless we do something to prevent another psychotic from taking the oath of office, there is a very real possibility of this happening again.
