The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder

That is the title of a new book by accomplished true crime author and attorney Vincent Bugliosi that lays out the case for the much needed and hopefully inevitable trial of George W. Bush for the murder of every single human who has died as a result of his illegal and unnecessary 'war on terror'. It absolutely astounds me that there is even a discussion about whether or not congress should impeach Bush and Cheney after the entire world knows that these men, and their associates, told over 930 lies to the people of America and congress in order to garner support for invading Iraq. They told us that Saddam had stockpiles of 'weapons of mass destruction' hidden all over the Middle East and none have ever been found. They said Huessein was in possession of anthrax, smallpox and sarron gas in amounts large enough to cause us harm, and there was none. Bush told us right to our faces that Saddam had sought to aquire aluminium tubes and yellow-cake urainium for manufacturing nuclear missiles, and this too was a lie. They swore that Al CIAda was being supplied and supported by Iraq and that Osama Bin Ladin could be hiding there, and he wasn't. And these are just the few lies that the corporate media has decided we deserve to know about. There is absolutely no question that this administration has committed high crimes and misdemeanors. This is documented and admitted fact, and Bush's former aide, Scott McClellen is verifying it in sworn testimony befor Congress.  Our precious Constitution says that when a civil servant of the people commits these indiscretions, he or she is to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. It's not an option, it's a damn law!
In 2006, we elected a Democratic majority to congress, and these people promised to put a stop to the out of control administration and return America to the kind of country we all believed it should be. But they have failed us miserably, and by refusing to do what we want and impeach and remove Bush and Cheney they are failing us again. I have written all of my representitives in the House and the Senate and informed them that unless there is a huge change of course and they start acting like they care about We The People, I will be leading the movement to elect totally new people to their jobs because it's obvious that they can't or won't do what they're supposed to do.  This legislative group has consistantly caved into the Neo-Cons wishes when voting on bills that restrict or revoke our liberties and freedoms, giving this president unpresidented and unwarranted power, the likes of which no other president in the history of this nation has enjoyed. Bush has trampled all over the Constitution and Bill of Rights, has illegally spied on and wire-tapped the citizens of this country, and demanded prosecutorial immunity for those tele-com companies who participated in the warrantless intrusions into our privacy. And yesterday congress aquiessed.......again, the cowards. Get rid of 'em all, I say!
To the people out there who say"Why waste time prosecuting Bush when his time in office is almost over anyway?", consider this. Thousands of your friends, brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles, mothers and fathers have given their precious lives fighting George Bush's private war for profit, and just like any other murder, the victims deserve justice. Make no mistake about it, this 'war' is not about fighting terror or liberating Iraq, it's about making money for Bush, Cheney, and their cronies who are the Military-Industrial Complex. The circumstances behind the reasons we invaded Iraq absolutely make each soldier's death a murder. This is not an opinion, it's constitutional law, and there isn't any room for debate. If someone murdered one or more of your loved ones for no good reason wouldn't your need to see justice served in order for you to begin to heal? Of course you would, and the families and loved ones of every single human who has died by George Bush's hand also deserves that same consideration. There is also the psychological and emotional damage these crimes have done to every decent person in America, of which I'm one, and I need to see these criminals prosecuted and convicted and sentenced so I can put this behind me and start the healing process. I demand they be impeached. Then, finally, there is the seriously flawed message that not seeking justice sends to young Americans, and the rest of the world. Doing nothing and letting these crooks walk sends the message that America no longer believes in the morals and values that made her a great and fair nation in the eyes of the world. It says that our leaders can lie, cheat and steal from their own people, and decieve and mislead the rest of the world, including our allies, and we as a people don't care. Well....I don't know about you, but that is not what I was raised to believe and I do care!, and as a true patriot, that is not the way I want my America to be seen by humanity.
The right-wing controlled, corporate media won't do this, and for some reason left wing, progressive media has a problem with it as well, so I'm going to do it. I am going to passionately urge and challenge everybody who reads this to contact their elected representitives and demand, not ask, that they get behind Reps. Wexler and Kucinich and push John Conyers and the Judiciary Committee to begin hearings on the thirty six articles of impeachment that those two courageous and patriotic men have put before congress. This issue is so criticle to this nation's future that it's difficult to put it into words, but suffice it to say that it's sink or swim time for America, and Impeachment in Congress, and conviction in the Senate are the water-wings America needs to keep from drowning in her own tears. PEACE

Time To Change The Channel

This show is getting really old, really fast! It's time to change the channel. America has a mentally ill, rogue fascist in control, and we need to get his ass out of there. Bush and Cheney have 359 days remaining until they leave office voluntarily, and, as past behavior exibits, that is way too long. This administration is famous for doing things behind our backs and while Congress and Senate are out of session. There is some kind of 'break' coming up for the legislative branch of our government, and I for one would like to see that 'break' postponed indefinately until they get off their over-paid, under-worked asses and perform their constitutional duty to begin impeachment proceedings against Bush and Cheney. Nobody denies that Bushco lied and decieved Congress and the American people, except a few deranged neo-con zombies at YahooAnswers who think Clinton's crimes were far worse than Bushco's, so just what is the delay? I wrote to my Senators, Boxer and Feinstein, and asked them to support the impeachment bill in the judiciary commitee. I haven't heard from Senator Boxer, but that's no surprise because she's busy doing her job, currently chairing hearings on something important which has slipped my mind. It doesn't matter because she's doing what she's supposed to be doing. Senator Feinstein on the other hand, had plenty of time to sit down, read my e-mail, and personaly respond to it. To make a long and aggravating story short, she told me that her excuses for not supporting impeachment are that she believes the proceedings would further divide the country, and that Congress is TOO BUSY to take on that kind of issue! Needless to say, I am a lot more pissed off at her than I was when I wrote to her. I replied and reminded her that Americans put a Democratic majority in Congress in order to quell the runaway Neo-Con agenda that was dividing this country, not to bow to Bush's every whim! I told her that as far as most voters are concerned Pelosi, Feinstein, and every other Democrat who has refused to do as their constituants have asked them to do on impeachment is guilty of treason, and we would be taking steps to remove them from office and bring them to justice, too. These Congresspersons and Senators seem to be so far out of touch with reality, or they are terrified to do there jobs for some strange reason, that they can't, or won't see how important this is. There is a even a group of people who believe they are being extorted, and threatened with their lives! What's next, aliens are actually in control? These people can't see far enough in front of themselves to realize that impeachment isn't so much about punishing Bush and Cheney, as it is about letting the next idiot know that Americans aren't as stupid as they think we are, and that we will not tolerate another out of control despot acting like this administration. Another facet of the impeachment process that Pelosi and her gang of morons don't seem to understand is that once they start hearings, and investigating Cheney's actions, he will have to resign to save his ass, and Bush is in the same position. If these folks would take a lesson from recent history and recall what happened to Richard Nixon after just threatening to impeach him, they would see how effective just the real threat of exposure through impeachment really is. They would kill two birds with one stone. Neither of them, Bush or Cheney, want the general public to see just how criminal their administration has actually been because they know that after impeachment, the people of America will want their heads on a stick! Bush is so concerned with this that it has been reported that he's trying to purchase 100,000 acres down south. Not in Texas, in PARAGUAY! That's a non-extradition country, folks! Sounds like "Butch and Sundance" are planning to skip out and avoid prosecution after they leave office, doesn't it? Anyway, the point is we need to take immidiate, positive action against these men now, before they DO manage to screw this country even more than they have, and get away scott-free! Urge your representitives that impeachment is absolutely neccessary, constitutionally required, and worked like a clock to oust Nixon. And 'Tricky Dick's crimes pale in comparison to the crimes of Bushco. We can't let the circus that is this current election distract us from the important issues that face the nation, and next to the economy this is the most important issue we face. Time doesn't stand still for two years while we choose the next 'dunce in chief', so make sure the people we've elected to represent us in Washington don't stop doing their job. Call, write, visit your reps, send smoke signals or telegrams, do whatever you have to do to make Congress and the Senate understand that "We The People" are sick and tired of the status quo, and we want it to change now, not in 2009 when the next president takes office. Make this administration clean up their mess, it's not the next guy's resposibility. Bushco must clean it up themselves.

I Said I Was Psychotic, Not Psychic!

The United States has a madman at the helm, there is no doubt about that, and his second in command is just as mad, if not more. At this point in time, there isn't much we can do about it except go through the process of impeachment and removal from office of both Bush and Cheney, but who is next in line, and how do we know that person is any more capable of responsibly running this country? We have a process for chosing our leaders, we're experiencing that process right now, it's this incredibly drawn out election circus. This two year journey we take every four years gives Americans the opportunity to scrutinize the individuals who make the decision to vie for the offices of President and Vice President, and determine where they stand on the issues facing our country, from our borders to religion, and everything in between no matter how trivial or irrelevant. Even with the amount of scrutiny these people are subject to during this lengthy process, a total lunatic managed to 'win' the last two elections, and has put the United States in the most preilous and insecure condition it has been in, perhaps in it's entire history. How did this happen, and what can we do to prevent it from happening again? It is my opinion that it's time we start evaluating our elected servants mental health before being accepted for the election process, instead of being subjected to the dangers of a psychopath like Bush or Cheney AFTER they have been elected. Believe it or not, there is a simple way to accomplish this, and I'll explain that after I show why it's necessary. I'm going to examine George Bush's Antisocial Personality Disorder presentations using his actions and re-actions to stimuli during his presidency. But first we should look at a couple of things in his past that should have been 'red flags' to his illness.
As a child, it has been reported that George enjoyed inflicting injury to animals as evidenced by his allegedly placing firecrackers in the anus of frogs, and then setting them off. A lot of people will say that "everyone does something like that!" Perhaps, but usually only once, and after they see how ugly and disturbing it is, they don't continue the behavior. Later in Georges life, during his college days, he admits that his favorite way of passing time, and gaining his peers approval, was hazing freshmen. For those who may not know what 'hazing' is, it basically torture on a lesser, perhaps 'innocent' level. In Bush's case, however, it is mearly just a continuation of the developing Antisocial Personality Disorder. Again, there is the arguement that lots of people do this, but most adults grow out of it as they pursue other interests. This part of Geroge's psyche just went into recession until the opportunity arose to employ it again. This would come during his time as Govenor of Texas.
Before I continue, I wanted to list the criteria for this disorder according to the American Psychiatric Association's DSM-IV TR, but copyright problems preclude that. So I'll tell you where you can find this information, just Googlesearch 'DSM-IV TR' , then after accessing that, search '301.7 Antisocial Personality Disorder', the information I'm referencing can be found there. If you're in posession of a copy, the info is on pg.291.
As Govenor of Texas, Mr. Bush was, by his own description, proud of his prosecution of the death penalty, and from 1995 to 2000, executed a record 152 prisoners. That's approximately 38 per year, or one person every 9.8 days. I may be off base here, but I believe most people would consider this a shameful record, but not George. He's proud of his ability to wield such power without hesitation, or regret. Criteria # 7 "lack of remorse, as indicated by being indifferent to or rationalizing having hurt, mistreated, or stolen from another.  Keep the word 'stolen' in mind. After Mr. Bush grew tired of putting criminals to death in Texas, he set his sights on becoming President, and just to hedge his bets, evidence has shown that his brother Jeb, Govenor of Florida at the time, and state election officials conspired to 'fix' the election in that state, effectively 'stealing' the outcome of that states balloting, giving the overall national victory to big brother, George. Geroge Bush took the oath of office the following January with absolutely no indication that perhaps there might have been some inproprieties, stating that Al Gore was an innocent victim of unfortunate circumstances. Lack of remorse, indifference, lucky, I don't know, what do you think. Since he has been in office, America suffered the worst terrorist attack in history, and since then the Bush administration has not given a straight answer to The People of the United States about anything. His administration blamed the attack on Osama Bin Ladin, and promised that he would be caught and "made to pay for what he's done", but only recently, when asked why O.B.L. is still at large, Bush told reporters, "I'm just not concerned with him." Could it be because O.B.L.'s involvement was a lie, and was never a target to begin with? Why didn't Bush and Cheney want their testimony in front of the 9/11 Commission made public, and why was it necessary for the two of them to be together? Was it because liars need to be together in order to keep their stories straight? After 9/11 the Bush White House set out to dismantle our constitution so they could start an illegal war with an enemy that didn't exist. They used questionable and absolutely false intelligence to gain American's support and losen congress's hold on the purse strings, and have been lying about it ever since. They tried to do the same thing to Iran, even though Cheney had already admitted to the previous deception of the people and congress. This is blatent failure to conform to social norms with respect to lawful behaviors as indicated by repetedly performing acts that are grounds for treason! Mr. Bush has repetedly referred to himself as a "war president". He says he wakes up and goes to work with "war on my mind!" Is this a normal person's way of thinking? This kind of thought is from someone with an aggressive disregard for the safety of others. At a press conference before he attacked Iraq, Mr. Bush was cautioned that putting troops on the ground in Iraq would bring them under possible attack from Saddam's military, and wasn't he concerned about them getting injured or killed, and his response was, quote,"Bring 'em on!", meaning let them attack the troops. Again, reckless disregard for the safety of others.
The people of America have said that we are sick and tired of paying for this illegal war, and still Bush, without hesitation, and with complete contempt goes to congress time and time again to ask for more funding. We have told him, time and time again, that we will give him more money only if he gives us a date for pulling our troops out and bringing them home. He counters this by refusing to sign legislation that is put before him, and even vetoing a bill for healthcare for our underprivileged children! This is sick, childish, antisocial behavior. I could go on for hours, but it's starting to depress me. I'm sure that if you've accessed the DSM-IV, and have read the criteria for disorder 301.7, there is probably little doubt that the Executive Branch of our government is packed with psychos. Now, how do keep this from happening again?
The Federal Govt. has many jobs that require applicants to undergo a fairly extensive background check and a psyche-social evaluation. The law demands that Joe Citizen undergo the same kind of scrutiny in order to purchase and own a gun. Bush and Cheney hold the two most important jobs in the free world, and are in control of the most sophisticated and deadly arsenal on the planet, yet they were not required to prove that they are mentally stable enough to even buy a gun! There is a way to insure that psychopaths and lunatics don't manage to hold such important positions, and that is to psychologically evaluate these people BEFORE they are approved to run for federal office. It takes a couple of hours to give prospective candidates an examination called the 'MMPI', 575 yes or no questions, that when properly answered, and those answers compared to existing parameters will point out to the facilitator any abhorant or psychotic charachter defects.A person can't work as an air traffic controller without such an examination, why should someone be allowed to hold high government without one? What most normal people don't understand is that another very strong and deceptive quality antisocials posess is manipulation. They are expert liars, as evidenced by Messers Bush and Cheney, and will stop at nothing, once given any kind of power,in their quest to advance their agenda.
Do a little research yourself and see if you don't agree with me. I suggest America come up with some kind of failsafe procedure to flush out people who aren't psychologically equipped for the menally demanding job of president, before we have this problem again. Here are just a few more 'famous' individuals who are 'antisocial'. Osama Bin Laden, Ted Bundy, Jeffery Dahlmer, Charles Manson, Westley Allen Dodd, The Menendez Bros., Timothy McVeigh,
John Wayne Gacy, David Berkowitz, Aileen Wornous, Richard Allen Davis, Dorthea Montolvo Puentes. If you don't think that George W. Bush, and Richard B. Cheney belong on that list, think about the thousands of human beings that have died because of their lies and deception. Bush and Cheney belong at the top of that list, and unless we do something to prevent another psychotic from taking the oath of office, there is a very real possibility of this happening again.
